Next Generation: Breast Cancer 2021 Meeting Highlights
The third Next Generation: Breast Cancer (NG:BC) meeting took place on 14th–15th October 2021 and was Co-Chaired by Mr Henry Cain and Mr Robert Thomas (Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeons; Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle). The meeting was aimed at senior Specialist Registrars and early Consultants from across medical disciplines, including oncology, surgery, radiology and pathology. The meeting objective was to support colleagues in developing their breadth of knowledge, providing learnings applicable to their daily practice and patient care, as well as growing their network of peers.
Presentations from the expert faculty covered the latest data shaping practice across radiology, pathology, surgery, oncology and radiotherapy, followed by an MDT panel discussion. An overview of the plenary sessions is provided in the NG:BC 2021 Highlights Report.
